The Harvard Kennedy School at Harvard University's Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation recognized the Educational Advocacy Program that was developed and directed by Dr. Kimberly Mills as being a top 100 governmental innovation for year 2007.
Georgia Council of Court Administrators
The Georgia Council of Court Administrators awarded Dr. Kimberly Mills and her colleagues the honor of Best Court Program in the state of Georgia for 2006. This program that was developed and directed by Dr. Mills consisted of a court based educational advocacy program addressing issues related to the School To Prison Pipeline and the educational needs of court invovled youth with disabilities.
Midwest Symposium For Leadership in Behavior Disorders
The Midwest Symposium for Leadership in Behavior Disorders awarded Dr. Kimberly Mills and colleagues the Building Bridges Award for devising a court based reading program to address the educational needs of court-invovled youth with disabiliites in 2005.
