The Harvard Kennedy School at Harvard University's Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation recognized the Educational Advocacy Program developed and directed by Dr. Kimberly Mills as one of 2007’s top-100 government innovations.
Georgia Council of Court Administrators
The Georgia Council of Court Administrators awarded Dr. Kimberly Mills and her colleagues the honor of Best Court Program in the state of Georgia for 2006. This program developed and directed by Dr. Mills consisted of a court-based educational advocacy program addressing issues related to the school-to-prison pipeline and the educational needs of court-involved youth with disabilities.
Midwest Symposium for Leadership in Behavior Disorders
The Midwest Symposium for Leadership in Behavior Disorders awarded Dr. Kimberly Mills and colleagues the Building Bridges Award for devising a court-based reading program to address the educational needs of court-involved youth with disabilities in 2005.
